Youssef and Mary

About the couple:
Mary and Youssef met in Baltimore – Youssef was out to dinner with some friends from DC, who also knew Mary, and they invited her to join the group. They told Youssef to save a seat at the end of the table next to him for Mary. The two spent the evening talking about their respective journeys to Baltimore/DC, their favorite travel destinations and foods/wines, and what they enjoyed doing outside of school/work. At the end of the evening, Youssef asked Mary for her phone number. They have spent the last 2+ years splitting their time between Baltimore and DC (and arguing about who lives in the cooler city).

Matthew and Beth – It was you, who changed my life.

About the couple(story told by the bride):
We have actually been together for about 7 years even though we are both extremely young. I am 22 and Matthew is 24. We have been dating since I was a sophomore and he was a junior in high school. We always knew each other but just joined at the hip then and have been best friends ever since. We have really grown up together and as a couple these past few years. Matt is a civil engineer with DelDot and I am a registered nurse at Beebe Healthcare on the Orthopedic floor. I am also working on getting my BSN and MSN currently. We also within the past year bought a new home together, bought a new car and have 2 golden retrievers that we adore. Matt actually proposed to me at our nephew/God sons’ 1st birthday party. He had just finished opening gifts and he brought me over a big envelope that said “Aunt Beth”. I opened this to find a sign that said “Aunt Beth, please say yes and marry my Uncle Matt.” I looked over and Matt was on one knee. This was the perfect way to propose because both families and a photographer were there! Also because our God son is soooo amazing and I love that it involved him. Something funny that took place was Matt went to pick up my ring that afternoon and there was a slight mix up at the jeweler an they could not find my ring! So he actually proposed to me with a huge purple ring! Which caused my reaction to be happy and confused at the same time! But 2 days later I got the amazing ring he picked out! We are sooooh looking forward to this day to officially be husband and wife and bring together our families that are together all the time as it is!
